Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Mumbai Police Call Yash Raj Films Demanding Copies Of Actor’s Contract-Reports
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise at the age of 34 has left everyone in a huge state of shock. After Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, the statements of his family and friends are being recorded by the Mumbai police and the case is under investigation. It was earlier this morning that actress and Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was spotted at the police station as she went ahead to record her statement. Now, according to latest reports, the police have called upon Yash Raj Films for Sushant Singh Rajput’s contract copy.

According to a report in India Today, Mumbai Police has written to Yash Raj Films demanding the copies of the contract with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The report states that the Police are investigating Sushant’s suicide and hence have written to YRF for copies of the contract with the late actor.

Sushan't himself was quite open about his relationship with YRF and Aditya Chopra. While he did Byomkesh Bakshi and Shudh Desi Romance with YRF under his 3-Film deal, Paani, his third film did not take off even after 11months of the actor not signing any other film. In between the actor had to let go of Ram-Leela and Befikre because apparently, Aditya Chopra did not release his dates. 


Meanwhile, on Monday, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that the Police will be investigating all the angles pertaining to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. He also mentioned that the angle of a professional rivalry brought to light by the media will also be investigated by the Police. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites were performed on June 15 in the presence of family and friends. The ashes of the late actor were immersed by his family members in the Ganges.
